Photo's, photo's, photo's!

Hi all,

As promised earlier in the day I am back to share some pages that I have just created with my NEW photo's from Coffs Harbour!
We had a wonderful relaxing time. :-)
The kidlets were amazing. Every time they saw a photo opportunity they would jump into a photo pose & say "take my picture here Mummy!" SO......I have hundreds of new photo's to play with. I am so happy with them that I took my disc to Big W this morning & just selected print all!
So here is what I have done ....so far!

I will leave you all (for 5 days) with a photo of my wooden stamps on my new shelf! My D.H has had the last week off & this is what he put up for me in my scrap room! Pretty impressive huh! He considers it his boat motor...LOL...my local friend will understand.(D.H says all the time that if I didn't have so much scrapping stuff he would have a big new boat...LOL. So when I arrived home from work the other day he took me to show me this new shelf calling it his boat motor! poor darling will get one one day, maybe when we win lotto!

I had better go & finish packing...yuk
bye for now
have a safe week

WHO HAD THE TIME OF THEIR LIVES?

I DID...............& about 20 other cardmaking/scrap obsessed women!!!!
Today we got together with a group of keen & very talented ladies to celebrate WORLD CARDMAKING DAY! & did we have a blast of a time??? You bet we did!
We hired the C.W.A rooms in Wingham (just a couple of shops up from Scrapsidaisy) to get together & create, create, create!!!! There were ladies everywhere stamping up a storm .....well almost! It was so, so much fun. The saddest part about the whole thing is that both Leisa & I were so busy that neither of us managed to take one single photo to show you how wonderful it was. So I will (TRY) to tell you......I am sure that everyone there had a great time. We had demo's, make & takes & technique classes for those that were interested & I had a wonderful, wonderful time teaching the classes that I did! The ladies were all so positive & encouraging that I felt honoured to be teaching them! :-)
As I type this I need matchsticks to keep my eyes open, but sleep is something that will not come for a few hours yet! I am still on such a high that if I went to bed I would just lay there for hours.
So to everyone that attended I hope that you had as much fun as I did & maybe we will see you all in November for our next cardmaking/scrapbooking get together!!!!
ENJOY
Jules
P.S. Thank you to Kristy & the other lovely ladies that helped Leisa & myself make the day possible!

~LOTS TO SHARE~

You may need to grab yourself a coffee.....LOL

I have lots to share.....
I have had a glorious weekend!
Saturday was pretty ordinary, catching up on the washing & other household chores & a trip to the nursery & local petstore.
But Sunday we had a wonderful day with my D.H's brother Max. We had organised the day before that we would go for a drive to Old Bar to the Old Bar festival. So we headed off at around 10.30 & it was well after 5pm before we got home. The festival was really amazing. There was plenty of entertainment & an attempt to break the world record with the most Kombies in the one place (unsure if they were successful) as well as the biggest market that I have seen in this area for a long time. A really good day out. When we left Old Bar we took the cricket gear down to the local riverbank & plated with the rugrats for a few hours. More fun!!!!
These two photos were taken on the riverbank yesterday afternoon with the much loved Uncle Max!

Which brings me to today, Monday! Today my husband & I celebrate our 13 year wedding anniversary. We had decided that because we are having a holiday next week that we would keep the presents to a minimum so we just purchased each other a lovely plant that we had both been wanting. But apart from the anniversary it has been another top day! Brock had a buddy over for the morning & then this arvo we headed to a friends house to celebrate a birthday as my Dear Friend had offered to look after the kiddies so D.H & I could go out (by ourselves...LOL) for dinner! Norm & I were a little lost as to where to go & what to do BUT we soon decided on a local buffet style Chinese restaurant. Boy did we pig out...lol.
I thought I would share a card that I made a while ago that I gave to my D.H today.
& this is a page that I created a few weeks ago of OUR wedding day (DON"T like the page at ALL!) But thought I would share it since it is our anniversary.
& then a few other pages that I have created over the glorious weekend!
When my Dear Niece got married last October the Love Elsie papers weren't even out so this photo was not staged for use with the papers BUT boy it was really fitting!!!!(Poor photo...Sorry!)
& then there was Flat Kenny!!!!When we went on holidays in 2003 Brock was still in preschool & was lucky enough to take a preschool friend on holidays with him! Boy he was a handfull!!!!LOL... & really naughty.....He got into all sorts of bother!
I did warn you that this was a long post....you have done well if you are still reading...LOL
I hope you have had a great (long) weekend & thanks for stopping by!
~ENJOY~

~Im BACK!!!!!~

Did you even notice that I was gone! We have had lots of illness in the family for the last 10 days or so (YET AGAIN!) But I am happy to say that are all well & truly on the road to recovery!

SO now I am better I have started to create again. Nothing out of the ordinary, just a few simple pages with some lovely, lovely products, all of which are available from Scrapsidaisy.
This First page is a special page to me. I have just recently had the photos of myself reproduced. I was about 8 years old in these photos. It is amazing to look back at things like this & see how much the fashion has changed...LOL....AND how much do my kids look like me?
The Papers & all the pretties are available from Scrapsidaisy.

This is an 8.5 x 11 of (YES AGAIN) my beautiful daughter. The P.P that I used is the new Gretel range from Cosmo Cricket.I actually used all the scraps from the page above.
This Big Boy page is another Cosmo Cricket page But I used the other range "Be Good". It is my D.S when he was 3 y.o & thought he was a big boy!
This page is Maddy when she was little. We used to call her possum hence the title! WOW my babies are growing up way TOO fast!
Another photo from the archives. Maddy always loved to dress up so I have created (a very simple page) using the lovely Cloud 9 patterned papers.
I hope that everyone out there that cares to look is having a great weekend & stays healthy & safe

~Simple, Simple, Simple~

Wow I had a wowser of a weekend! I got the bug bigtime! I stayed up rather late all three nights. On Saturday night I drove myself absolutely insane trying to create something out of the norm for me & this first page is what I came up with. I do like it it's just that the frustration that I went though to create it isn't worth it. So with that in mind I decided last night that I was going simple! In that I mean with simple technique! LOL.....So just last night I created these 3 pages with my simple, simple, simple technique in mind!!!!!!

Yesterday we, as a Family sat in the lounge room & went through my boxes & boxes of photos. Whilst I was at it I discovered all these gorgeous photos that I have yet to scrap. These pages have older photo's in them & it was really lovely to look back on these photos.
Enough dribble from me for today. I am off to the shops to meet a lovely friend for a girly DAY!!!

Decided to have a midnight Scrap

Hi There!
I have had a wonderful evening! It started with me having a play around & making a few changes on my blog & before I knew it it was almost midnight! I hadn't even scrapped.....Oh NO!
So close to midnight I decide that I would have a play in the 8.5 x 11 size. I threw these two pages, of my D.S, together. I am pretty happy with the way they have turned out! remember they were really quick (thanks to the cuttlebug!) & all up took an hour to create!

A new INSPIRATIONAL card blog

I just thought I would share with you all a wonderful blog that Leisa has just set up. It is called COPYCATCARDS where people can pop by and enjoy looking at lots of cards made by very talented cardmakers and scrappers...and that's where YOU come in. Why not take advantage of having a new challenge to inspire you to use up some old product and end up with a very handy stash of cards to give to friends and family? What a great way to get inspiration & maybe even sometimes a little motivation to get us creating. ( I sure am in need of some at the moment!)
So make sure you check it out!
If you are in the blogging mood don't forget to check out SCRAPSIDAISY online. Leisa has been busy adding new stock every day. It is starting to fill up & some of the most popular items sell out really fast!

A wonderful WEEKEND & (Mon)day creating

A quick share tonight to share something that I created today. I owed my nephew an engagement present from a few months back so I took the time out today to create something for the lovebirds to cherish. I used the new wooden "LOVE" that Scrapsidasiy has instore. I used pieces of my scraps, from a page I created over the weekend, with the beautiful PAPER LOFT p.p. I hope they enjoy my gift!

Sunday was Fathers Day BUT... my Hubby had a double whammy with it being his birthday as well! He was a little bit spoilt with lots & lots of pressies (but sure did deserve it) I made him this really quick card on Sat. evening but the best present of all was one that D.S. made for him at school.
It's the little things in life that are so precious!

All better now....

Thank you for all the well wishes regarding my poor little man. He is all better now thanks. Things got a bit scary there for a while. But after 5 Dr's visits & a hospital visit he is all better. Man of the house has a version of it now!!! Blah

Haven't had a lot of time to scrap over the last week BUT I did manage to do a few projects this weekend. Scrapsidaisy has all the supplies that you need to create these two B.T.P projects that I have just finished.

This first is a ribbon/scrapping organiser. I really enjoyed creating this one although I found it a bit challenging as I wanted to add photo's but I didn't think that photo's were appropriate.
This final project is a beautiful ribbon caddy/organiser. I plan to use it for my fave ribbons

I hope you are all well & have a great week

**My POOR Sick little man**

What a week we have had. My poor little man has had such a shocker! It started as a viral infection.....argh! so there was nothing that could be done for him. He started to show signs of improvement BUT....has gone back down in a big crashing heap! It turns out now that he has an infection in both ears! so after an evening at Accident & emergency tonight he is on antibiotics & is hopefully at the end of it all. I am hoping that this is the end of it all for the poor little man!

I actually started this post over an hour ago! I have just spent the last hour changing sheets/blankets on the poor little mans bed. He hasn't been vomiting since Sat/ Sun BUT now that has even started back up again. OMG!!! I want my healthy little man back!
For my local ladies-I am missing you all! I can't wait to get back to work. I am just lucky that I have the most understanding boss!! I promise as soon as my little man is better we will all have a catch up!
I hope you are all having a better week than I!

OOOPS......NO Soccer!

I think I jinxed myself last night when I posted and said that I was spending my weekend at soccer. My D.S was meant to play his usual game this a.m. & has a special gala day tomorrow.BUT....he has fallen ill & can not play at all. He has some virus & has had me really worried. High temps, vomiting, headaches & really, really sore neck. I had the worst night in history with the poor little mite. Took him off to the Dr this morning & he has a virus (that I won't attempt to write as it sounds just like a really bad swear word) so it just has to takes its course. He seems to be on the mend this evening so heres hoping tonight will be a better one than last night. The poor little baby has had a run of bad luck of late. He fell over at school yesterday & it was touch & go as to wether he needed stitches in his knee.....OMG!!!I am hoping this is the end of the bad luck as he has certainly had his fair share!!!!

While I am here I will show a few pages that I created last night & tonight. I was on a roll last night & it is continuing tonight. We had a wonderful FAMILY day at Forster last weekend & I took the opportunity to get in a photo shoot. The photo's I took of my D.D & D.S. I have used on these few pages.
FIVE things I love about you Brock!!!
This page (above) IRL has lots of bling! it just doesn't show up in the photo.
I used my new cuttlebug alpha on this one. lovin it!

Addicted Again!

Hi There,

Just a few pages to share tonight. I am really enjoying the new paper & embellishment range that arrived instore this week. The brand is Gin-X & is really inspiring paper.
This first layout is of my handsome nephew- Chris. He has just recently moved back to Taree from Brisbane -So it is good to see a lot more of him!

The next layout is of my 2 big BOYS. I LOVE these guys so much! The P.P's that I used are to die for!

This final page is a page that my 9 y.o. D.D created at our kiddy classes this week. For the locals that don't know- we have children's classes every school day afternoon & this is a glimpse of what you can expect your child to create.
I hope everyone has an enjoyable weekend! mine will be filled with soccer, soccer & more soccer! LOL!

My weekends creations

I started my weekend with another take on the clock that the lovely Mishell Lancett taught & created for us at SCRAPSIDAISY

Then once the creativity started to flow I did A few pages! The first is (yet another) Love Elsie page. The photo is of the lovelies Leisa & Mishell & myself. It was taken at the recent Newcastle fundraiser crop.

Then I was busting to use the new Autumn Leaves rubons & P.P so I dug out an old photo of my D.D & created this-

The last thing I created was this quite simple page of my Darling SISTER & B.I.Law. I know she lurks my blog so maybe this will put a smile on her face. The p.p I used is from the lovely Urban Lily range & I am making use of my cuttlebug for the titles!!!

Just a few pages to share. The first is an old photo of my D.H & D.S back in '04 when we were holidaying in Sydney. I just love the photo!
The next is a double layout (a first for me for a long while) of my D.D & her best buddie. The photo's are so cute I had to use them all together.

Not A LOT to share

Hi All,
Not a lot to share at the moment. I, like half of the country, have the FLU!! So I am feeling a little yucky & not at all creative.
Just thought I would share a few more 8.5 x 11 pages that I have done.

OH I almost forgot! a local friend & very talented scrapper has just set up a blog. You can check it out here http://tracey-3boys1girl.blogspot.com/ or check out Tracey K. in my sidebar. Tracey always inspires me to get stuck into the 8.5 x 11 pages. Thank you Tracey & well done on starting a blog.
