LOVE'N ELSIE

Hi All,
I have had a blast of a weekend! I have done three things (all of which are very important to me!) Firstly I worked yesterday & had an amazing Saturday in wingham at the lovely little shop SCRAPSIDAISY . secondly I spent the afternoon/evening with my family at a local family fireworks night & then thirdly I SCRAPPED well into the night! I have just been so inspired lately with the Love Elsie papers & embellishments. I managed 5 pages in all. The first 3 are in the 8.5 x 11 size & the others in the usual 12 x 12. I hope you like them! Because I really enjoyed doing them.
I hope everyone has a safe funfilled week!

MY BABY TURNS "8"

WOW what a week! My kiddies returned to school last Tuesday (all excited to be back!) all was going well, as expected, & then I get the phone call that every parent dreads! Brock has had a fall in the playground & has hurt himself! So hubby rushes to the school to discover my brave little boy unable to move his arm. So it is off to the hospital for xrays & such & the conclusion was that he has a fractured collarbone! So today as he celebrates his birthday he is on the mend. He insisted that he return to school today as it much more fun sharing the day with his buddies. So I made him a cake & took it on for his class to share. He has been really spoilt with lots & lots of pressies tonight & a second cake to share with the family-how lucky was he!. But boy does he deserve them. I am so proud of my brave little man!
I hope you all have a lovely week.
I have some new pages/projects to share so I will post them soon.

NEWCASTLE MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY CROP

WOW, WOW, WOW what a wonderful DAY! Leisa & I headed off bright & early this morning for the crop that was held in Newcastle as a Fundraiser for M.D.

Once we arrived, for the first hour or so, I just sat & was in awe of everything that was going on around me. Then it was time to get into it! I managed to create two pages of my own & then I attended a class by the ever so popular Jen Hall. (My take of it is posted above.)

The pages below are the two that I managed to create all by myself. I am stoked as I actually finished them & quite like them as well!

I aslo managed to create this card using my cuttlebug embossing & die cuts.

We met some lovely, lovely ladies! & caught up with the adorable Mishell!

& then to top it all off I won this great set of stamps!
I hope everyone else had a wonderful Saturday ( I sure know I did!)

A FEW SIMPLE PAGES!

Just a few pages to share tonight. I created this layout with a photo that is a few years old now. Not something I do that often ( As I seem to take more photo's then I can keep up with) & looking at it I can not believe how much my babies have grown!

The next is a page of my little man in the 2007 Taree & District Eisteddford. The day was so long for the poor little darlings & then to top it off(after waiting all day to sing last) the music didn't work in their C.D player, so they sang beautifully without music!
I am loving these Love Elsie papers!

And the third & final page is a page I created using the Urban Lily range.
All these pages are simple (I know) BUT I felt for a while that I had lost my MOJO so I am creating with a simple style to encourage my creativity to re-appear! heres hoping!!!

Mishell Lancett

Hi,

I mentioned in my last post that I was attending a class today, at SCRAPSIDAISY, with a special guest Mishell Lancett. Well I must say that Mishell is one of the most beautiful people that I have met! Her work is so inspiring & the originality is amazing.

(Sorry to the ladies that had left when this photo was taken)
Today we learnt so many new techniques & had a truly wonderful time with a lovely group of ladies & a fabulous teacher.

I have just finished my original clock & I couldn't resist using my new LOVE ELSIE papers & embellishments.

Some new pages

Just thought I would share a few new pages. I was starting to worry! I Thought I had lost my Mojo. I Could not for the life of me DO a layout. I was just sitting moving lots of papers & photos around & around. That is the reason why these pages are quite simple.

Hi there,

Thought I would upload a new project that I have just finished playing with. I created this for my precious D.D to hang on her wall & to give her inspiration when she is feeling down. Some GIRLY Glitter!!!!

Just a page to share that I have created with a baby photo of my precious almost 10yo D.D. I picked up these beautiful glittery papers at SCRAPSIDAISY yesterday & have been busting to scrap with them! I got a little carried away with the glitter! I had a wonderful time creating this page tonight. My D.D is having a sleep over at a friends house...SO my D.S was helping me paint & create. we had such a wonderful time creating together.
So after he was off to bed I created this page JUST FOR HIM! Brock loooooves fishing & recently we had a local Bream Classic held here. Brock was in his GLORY meeting all the "Famous Fishermen". I used (again) the Junkitz {Extreme Boy} range of papers to create this busy page.

Just wanted to remind you to check out these gorgeous packs that are now available for purchase from scrapsidaisy
And lastly I just wanted to share this gorgeous collage of my GREAT neice (makes me sound old doesn't it!) and my kiddies. It was taken recently at a family B.B.Q & the photos are just adorable. This little girl has such a gorgeous personality & I think these photo's showcase that!!!

I had better get back to creating

FINALLY....Something to share!

Hi Bloggers,
It has been a while since my last post. I won't bore you with the facts. I have had the Flu & have been feeling rotten. BUT I am now able to share for anyone that would like to look. The picture above is a book that I created recently to give to my sister for her birthday in July. I used the beautiful, bright Junkitz range of papers. It doubles as her birthday card.
This page is another newbee that I have just finished. I used the noice WeR Precious Metal p.p. range. I quick crackled the chipboard & tried out my new Autumn Leaves stamps ( just LOVE THEM)
This pretty little pink page I created (just tonight) using the NEW Heidi Grace range of papers that Leisa has in at SCRASIDAISY . I only started scrapping about 3 years ago. My kiddies have been photographed endlessly ever since. So I haven't really scrapped their baby photo's. The lovely Debbie Kingston has been re-scrapping hers So this has inspired me to actually start scrapping my kiddies as babies.

And my final page for tonight was created using the (Bestest) 3 Bugs In A Rug COCO patterned paper range. I have had it in my stash for a while now & challenged myself to use it. I don't like using my favourite papers. silly huh!

Finally I will leave you with a collection of photo's to show you how we spent our afternoon! After a morning at soccer (where Brock was very very excited!!! to score his first goal) we headed to the local river to FISH!!!! Something that Brock has a passion for. We had a bribe going all week - to keep him in his bed. If he could do that we would ALL go fishing on Saturday afternoon. He succeeded (well almost) so it was off to the river for us. (it was about as exciting as watching grass grow) I am glad that Brock enjoyed it though.
Enough dribble from me
But before I go ......No matter where in the world you live. Don't forget to visit the SCRAPSIDASIY blog to check out the R.A.K(s) that Leisa is giving away there.
