Kids Cooking

With the holidays in full swing we have been having a little fun when we can. The kids have had play dates & have been having heaps of fun & then today we spent this morning cooking. Maddy made (all by herself) a chocolate cake & really went all out when she decorated it.

Brock has headed off to cricket with daddy now BUT before he went he cooked these -

they taste delish too!

and a post wouldn't be complete without a couple of pages

Pages and Family FUN!

Here's a page that I created for the SCRAPSIDAISY Monthly challenge. The theme was wedding. The criteria was to use Something old, Something New, Something Borrowed & something blue.

And a couple of pages from last weekend-

The following are a couple of classes that I am currently teaching at Scrapsidaisy. The first is a Christmas themed 12"x12" Family Canvas.

PEACE Christmas book.

On the family front. My daughter played in the under 13's hockey grand final on the weekend. They went into the game as the underdogs as the team that they played were undefeated all season. The game was so stressful & majorly exciting at the same time...lol! It was a 1 all draw at full time so they then went into 5 minutes each way sudden death - golden point. Our girls were the victorious ones that came away with the winning goal. WOOOHOOOO - way to go Sharks!!!!!! They had the most amazing coach - They just LOVE YA Trish!!!!!!!

Last weekend we had a fishing outing off a local bridge & Brock was so excited to catch a huuuuge Bream -

And Maddy caught a huge flathead-

I caught nothing! I also realised that I don't have the patience to fish any more...lol. It was fun to watch the kids excitement when they caught theirs though.

Some new pages............

Long time no post! oops! I know I am slack! Never mind! I plan to make more regular updates now, my Dearest Hubby bought me a laptop - so now I don't have to sit in another room om my PC while my family sit in the loungeroom......yipppeeeee!

SHOCK, HORROR - Two posts in the same month...........

I hope that everyone has enjoyed the lovely Queens birthday long weekend! What a lovely weekend it has been!

I have, along with the usual domestic chores, spent a little time in my scraproom. Here are the pages that I created.

These first 2 are my takes on the monthly challenges at the SCRAPSIDAISY forum. If you would like to take part feel free to join in. The Criteria was simple - Use a diecut paper.

This last page (above) I used the "NEW" Ruby-Rockit. Vintage Beauty! It is a lovely range & is all available from SCRAPSIDAISY .

Speaking of Scrapsidaisy! Leisa is celebrating at the moment as SCRAPSIDAISY is turning 4!

Happy Mothers Day

Well I won't try to explain my lack of blogging apart from saying that everyday life has been busy of late.

I would also like to wish all the mums out there a very happy Mothers Day for tomorrow. I hope you all get very spoilt & can spend the day with those that you love. I know I will be.

I have been scrapping up a storm of late & will share a few pages with you.

The first few are with the NEW Basic Grey - Wisteria range. It is yummo! Scrapsidaisy have it in stock (it is selling really fast though) & I am just loving it

Birthday, Pancakes & pages

It sure has been a busy time of late BUT last night I had the bestest time@ Scrapsidaisy !
We held a fundraiser for Uniting Care & held a Pancake night! YUMMO! It was so much fun! The girls were all scrapping up a storm & munching down delicious pancakes cooked by the lovely Leisa. Leisa happened to be celebrating her birthday & shared her precious time with us. I hope your day was a special one Leisa - you sure do deserve it.

This is a Huuuge canvas that I created for my beloved brother for his 50th earlier in the month. He just loved it & thanked me so many times it was fabulous!

Weekend Share

I have spent another evening loving the Love Letters - Little Yellow Bicycle collection.
These first 3 pages just about used up every scrap of paper I had left from the whole range.I plan to use the scraps that are left to make the D.Hubby a Valentines card.

This last page I created using the Making Memroies - Poolside paper range. (Lovin it now...hehehe)

Christmas Scrap-A-Thon......

Hi There

I have been scrapping up a storm over the holiday break. I guess a new camera & then new pic's are a pretty good inspiration. Not to mention yummy new products as well.

There has been so much happening BUT I won't bore you all with the pre-christmas stuff. I have so much to share.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MADDY

My Gorgeous Daughter celebrated her 11th Birthday today. Boy oh boy did she get spoilt!!
She had an amazing day today & we went out for dinner tonight to celebrate!!! Such a lucky Girl!!!!!!! She was showered with gifts all day.

The Perm

The lovely Kim Archer has had a call out for everyone to share their "Perm" pics so I have one for you all to laugh at today.

This pic was taken in 1989 (when I was a wee bit younger....LOL) & as I only ever had short hair, when I was in my teens, I had root perms. They would wrap cling wrap around the ends of my hair so that the solution only permed the roots. gotta love that hey....lol


So I dare anyone that reads this to share one of themselves. That way we can all look silly together.....lol

Its Spring....yay!!!!

Hi there

Well what a glorious first day of spring we have had today! The weather was just divine. I hope that wherever you are that you are having lovely weather too.

I have spent the last week( with the help of D.H) repainting my loungeroom. WOW I am so impressed with the finished result! I feel like a TV makeover show has been in there. Now I just need to do the rest of the house....LOL

On scrapping news.

Copycatcards is back up & running after a little break. You should see the fab entries that have been submitted so far. The girls have certainly pulled out some clever techniques. Go check it out & have a go. They are looking for a few more members for the D.T too.

A couple of weeks ago my Sister started scrapping. It has been so much fun to see her start a craft that I know that she will LOVE! She loves the group of girls that she has started with at SCRAPSIDAISY & she has also been coming around to my house on a Saturday evening to scrap. We create together & share many laughs along the way. Hi Gail ( I know she lurks on here).

Scrapsidaisy Forum has a new challenge running atm. It is a fun way to get inspired & amazing to look at all the different versions that the girls come up with. Have you checked it out? if not why not? its simple to register & a lovely, friendly group of girls will make you feel most welcome.
