LOVE'N ELSIE

Hi All,
I have had a blast of a weekend! I have done three things (all of which are very important to me!) Firstly I worked yesterday & had an amazing Saturday in wingham at the lovely little shop SCRAPSIDAISY . secondly I spent the afternoon/evening with my family at a local family fireworks night & then thirdly I SCRAPPED well into the night! I have just been so inspired lately with the Love Elsie papers & embellishments. I managed 5 pages in all. The first 3 are in the 8.5 x 11 size & the others in the usual 12 x 12. I hope you like them! Because I really enjoyed doing them.
I hope everyone has a safe funfilled week!

MY BABY TURNS "8"

WOW what a week! My kiddies returned to school last Tuesday (all excited to be back!) all was going well, as expected, & then I get the phone call that every parent dreads! Brock has had a fall in the playground & has hurt himself! So hubby rushes to the school to discover my brave little boy unable to move his arm. So it is off to the hospital for xrays & such & the conclusion was that he has a fractured collarbone! So today as he celebrates his birthday he is on the mend. He insisted that he return to school today as it much more fun sharing the day with his buddies. So I made him a cake & took it on for his class to share. He has been really spoilt with lots & lots of pressies tonight & a second cake to share with the family-how lucky was he!. But boy does he deserve them. I am so proud of my brave little man!
I hope you all have a lovely week.
I have some new pages/projects to share so I will post them soon.

NEWCASTLE MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY CROP

WOW, WOW, WOW what a wonderful DAY! Leisa & I headed off bright & early this morning for the crop that was held in Newcastle as a Fundraiser for M.D.

Once we arrived, for the first hour or so, I just sat & was in awe of everything that was going on around me. Then it was time to get into it! I managed to create two pages of my own & then I attended a class by the ever so popular Jen Hall. (My take of it is posted above.)

The pages below are the two that I managed to create all by myself. I am stoked as I actually finished them & quite like them as well!

I aslo managed to create this card using my cuttlebug embossing & die cuts.

We met some lovely, lovely ladies! & caught up with the adorable Mishell!

& then to top it all off I won this great set of stamps!
I hope everyone else had a wonderful Saturday ( I sure know I did!)

A FEW SIMPLE PAGES!

Just a few pages to share tonight. I created this layout with a photo that is a few years old now. Not something I do that often ( As I seem to take more photo's then I can keep up with) & looking at it I can not believe how much my babies have grown!

The next is a page of my little man in the 2007 Taree & District Eisteddford. The day was so long for the poor little darlings & then to top it off(after waiting all day to sing last) the music didn't work in their C.D player, so they sang beautifully without music!
I am loving these Love Elsie papers!

And the third & final page is a page I created using the Urban Lily range.
All these pages are simple (I know) BUT I felt for a while that I had lost my MOJO so I am creating with a simple style to encourage my creativity to re-appear! heres hoping!!!
